It’s LGF, not LCF. They are initials for Laura Gardin Fraser (1889-1966), the artist who designed the front (obverse) side of the coin.

So if I were you, I would either ignore the worker or just file a complaint to the manager in charge about the worker’s actions or just tell your parents about it. There is no silver in that coin. Nickels are only 35% silver from 1942-1945 they’re called war nickels. Every other nickel doesn’t have any silver in it.

Regarding 2:01, that coin is from Taiwan. The guy on the obverse is Chiang Kai-shek who was an army general who later became president. He was born in 1887 and died in 1975. On the reverse 10 圓 拾 means a 10 Yuan coin. Regarding 2:45, the 2010 Canadian 5 cents coin is not nickel. Instead it is made from steel with an exterior nickel plating.
